Bill Poole
The coordinating editor of LandNotes, Bill Poole is the senior director of marketing communications at TPL and editor of Land&People magazine. As a freelance journalist and later as a TPL staff member, he has been writing about conservation and conservationists for more than 20 years.
Jad Daley
As the director of TPL’s Climate Conservation Program, Jad Daley leads TPL’s efforts to shape federal climate legislation and develop project-based climate initiatives. Jad is the founding co-chair of the Forest-Climate Working Group, a coalition of the forest products industry, conservation and wildlife groups, foresters, private forest owners, academics, and carbon finance groups working to include a range of private forest conservation funding measures in national climate legislation. Before joining TPL, Jad led the Eastern Forest Partnership, served as Campaign Director for the Northern Forest Alliance, a served as founding Chair of the Friends of Silvio O. Conte National Fish and Wildlife Refuge. As an endurance athlete, he has represented the U.S. in international amateur competition and twice has placed in the top 150 finishers of the New York City Marathon.
